The Baraga County Historical Society operates the Baraga County Historical Museum located on US 41 in Baraga on the shore of Keweenaw Bay. The mission of the BCHS is to collect, preserve, and display the rich history of Baraga County. Exhibits at the museum highlight many events significant in local history as well as provide an overview of the county`s cultural heritage and natural resources.Features include many exhibits from Baraga County including a lumber camp of the 1800’s, impressive mineral rock collections, war veteran and Indian displays.
